This week’s General Hospital recap for March 11 – March 15, 2024, featured explanations proffered, deep conversations, and so much more.
Monday, March 11
Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Spinelli’s (Bradford Anderson) plan to hit up all of Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) safehouses went awry in her car ran out of gas…. Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) implored Cody (Josh Kelly) to let others in.
With Anna (Finola Hughes) and John (Adam J. Harrington) closing in, Jason (Steve Burton) leaped from ‘Robin’s Bridge.’ While Anna and John debated whether or not he survived, and whether or not he was Dante’s (Dominic Zamprogna) shooter, Jason sought refuge in the Quartermaine boathouse.
Sonny informed Sam (Kelly Monaco) that Jason was alive…. TJ (Tajh Bellow) expressed apprehension over Kristina Corinthos (Kate Mansi) bearing his and Molly’s (Kristen Vaganos) child…. Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) struggled to make himself feel useful.
Tuesday, March 12
Jason proved to be a bone of contention for Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Carly (Laura Wright)…. Sam opened up to Laura (Genie Francis) and Michael (Chad Duell)…. Danny discovered Jason and tended to him…but only after he swore that he didn’t shoot Dante. Jason insisted that Danny couldn’t update Sam.
Molly played sounding board for Kristina…. Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) agreed to a luncheon with her mother but tore out when Natalia (Eva LaRue) termed her and Kristina’s relationship an experiment. Laura informed Heather (Alley Mills), who was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy (weakened heart muscle) that she was to be transferred to San Quentin Women’s Federal Petitionary.
Wednesday, March 13
Curtis (Donnell Turner) informed Marshall (Robert Gossett) that he’d tracked down the doctor who misdiagnosed him all those years ago. Marshall decided to confront the medico in a bid to achieve closure. Selena Wu (Lydia Look) laid the blame for Curtis’ shooting at Sonny’s feet, but Curtis refused to entertain the notion.
Drew finished with Carly…. Carly insisted to Sam that Jason didn’t shoot Dante. Sam, in turn, implored Carly to turn Jason in should he make contact again…. Danny conscripted Michael who conscripted Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) to tend to Jason…. Anna warned Sonny against interfering in the PCPD/FBI’s investigation.
Thursday, March 14
John antagonized Carly…. Jason explained to Michael that he was blackmailed into becoming a mercenary. The blackmailer’s apparent identity: John Cates!
Lois (Rena Sofer) lent Sonny her ear and shoulder…. Kristina showed up for Sam, and then advocated for Danny when he put in yet another appearance at the hospital. An overwhelmed Sam bemoaned not giving her son the attention he deserved…. Drew filled Willow in on his and Carly’s break up over a bottle of wine…. Anna and Molly debated Jason’s guilt or innocence. The former opined that Jason was long gone from Port Charles.
Friday, March 15
Heather’s health woes are down to cobalt poisoning, courtesy of an old hip replacement. Laura, acting as her POA, talked Heather into undergoing surgery…. Nina (Cynthia Watros) antagonized Alexis and Gregory (Gregory Harrison), causing much fuss. So much, that when Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) approached Alexis about working with her, it gave the editor pause.
Josslyn (Eden McCoy) does her utmost to convince Dex (Evan Hofer) not to do a runner. Nina showed up and spilled about Dex infiltrating GH dressed as an orderly…. Stella (Vernee Watson) learned that Dr. Braddock had passed away and that he most likely misdiagnosed Marshall for bigoted reasons.
