General Hospital spoilers for for January 11, 2024, promise another day of bittersweet memories as Maxie walks down memory lane and Carly looks toward the future.
Maxie Tells Bobbie’s Story
After Bobbie’s (Jacklyn Zeman) moving memorial service at General Hospital, those who loved her most are still ready to honor her more. If it weren’t for Bobbie and Tony (Brad Maule) agreeing to give a dying Maxie’s (then played by Robyn Richards) their daughter BJ’s heart when she was just a little girl, Maxie (Kirsten Stoms) would not be alive right now with three children of her own.
That’s why she is the perfect person to tell Bobbie’s tale for a very special story about Bobbie’s life. Maxie and a reporter named Angela Brighton (Brighton Hertford, who played young BJ) sit down with Port Charles residents and ask them to share their memories of the nurse who came to Port Charles at the start of her career and went on to run the GH nursing school.
Bobbie was born in PC but then had a difficult upbringing in Florida where her aunt pimped her out in her brothel when she was just a teenager. She overcame that adversity and led a full and successful life, so get ready for more flashbacks of that life.
Carly And Felicia’s Mission
Maxie’s mom Felicia (Kristina Wagner) was one of Bobbie’s best friends and her adult daughter is alive because of Bobbie and Tony’s generosity. Felicia and Bobbie were also once sister-in-laws, so it makes sense that Felicia will travel with Carly (Laura Wright) to Amsterdam to take care of Bobbie’s affairs.
While Carly also dedicates a tribute to her mother, she and Felicia will embark on an adventure with their overseas trip. There is more to the last months of Bobbie’s life than they imagined. Carly and Felicia are both determined to talk to the last people who were helping Bobbie stop human trafficking.
Bobbie’s final mission in life was to help young women who were victims like herself. What will Carly and Felicia ultimately find when they reach their destination? Maybe this trip is exactly what both women need for closure.
