The latest installment of The Daily Drama Podcast — brought to you by DailyDrama.com — reunited, for the first time considering their alter-egos never crossed paths, hosts General Hospital stalwarts Bradford Anderson (Damian Spinelli) and Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) and ‘Special Guest Star’ Gregory Harrison (ex-Gregory Chase).

Daily Drama Welcomes Gregory Harrison

Fun fact about Gregory Harrison: He owned and operated The Coast Playhouse on Santa Monica Blvd. for 15 years. Equally fun is the fact that Harrison is looking mightily more spry than the last time he was seen on GH — the description “a little pale” was offered by Anderson, his tongue planted firmly in cheek. The actor himself offered that there had been “quite the reaction in the last couple of days,” following his character’s departure for the Upper Room.

Harrison could but marvel over his tenure at the ABC sudser. “It started out as a 10-show arc three and a half years ago, and I thought, ‘Ooooph. Am I even going to be able to pull this off? …I had never done a soap in my life…I’ve done everything else….I was so scared of it. The whole concept of it just seemed terrifying to me.”

Luckily, he took to it just fine — and the experience helped him fine-tune his skills as an actor. He’s now more focused than ever and lacks self-consciousness.

As the interview came to a close, Harrison was insistent on voicing just how much he loved working with those in his (soap) bubble. “Michael Easton was just fabulous to me from day one. Easy to work with, so committed, and so open to anything.” Josh Swickard (Harrison Chase) too.

He also went on to compare working with one GHer to “riding a bucking bronco,” but if you want to know who, you’ll have to tune in. Ditto to discover the “one regret” that Harrison has concerning his inevitable exit.
