Stephen Nichols paid tribute to Drake Hogestyn online in a beautifully worded post on Instagram this week, and his love for the fallen star didn’t end there. The Days of our Lives actor has also gone on video to share his grief over losing his longtime friend.
Stephen Nichols’ Tearful Tribute
Nichols sat down with Access Hollywood to remember Drake Hogestyn and share his fondest memories as the late star. His loving tribute had him in tears…and us too. During the segment, Stephen shared beautiful sentiments and openly expressed his adoration. “I just love him so much,” Nichols states. “He lifted everybody up. He had such a powerful spirit and love for life and he brought that to work every single day.”
Through tears, he talked about the last time he saw Drake face-to-face which was at the Daytime Emmys. He discussed learning Hogestyn was sick and later, the extent of his illness. Nichols also touched on how much Drake loved his family and how his wife, children, and grandchildren were his pride.
