The cast, crew, and alum of General Hospital were devastated by the tragic murder of Johnny Wactor. The news took the entire soap world by storm and his loss is felt across the industry. His TV mom, Bonnie Burroughs felt her heart shatter when she learned of his passing. Recently, she sat down for an interview to talk about her life sharing the screen with Johnny.

Bonnie Burroughs Mourns Her TV Son

Access Hollywood brought Bonnie Burroughs to the studio to talk about his life and his horrific death. She talked first about the moment she got a text learning about his death. “It knocked the wind out of me,” she told them. She also discussed how he was a beautiful person and that he was a person she looked forward to working with every day. She shared they had an “instant friendship and connection.”

She opened up about how upsetting the whole situation is. “Everybody’s devastated, needless to say. It’s just so awful. I am so sad, and so mad.” And now, everyone wants justice. She, along with Johnny’s family, friends, and coworkers past and present have come together to cry out for an arrest. They want to see his killer in cuffs and facing charges.

Johnny Wactor was gunned down in Los Angeles on May 25th after approaching men he thought were towing his car, but were instead robbing it for parts.
