While they anxiously await his one-episode return to General Hospital, Bryan Craig fans can satiate themselves with his turn in a soon-to-premiere Tubi Original.
Bryan Craig’s New Gig
Out this Friday (July 19), Spread follows “Ruby (Dynasty standout Elizabeth Gillies), an aspiring journalist and staunch feminist, who has big dreams but has not done much to make them a reality. Broke and desperate, Ruby is forced to swallow her pride and take a temp job at SPREAD, an outdated adult magazine. There she discovers that despite the industry, this is just another office job with bad coffee, stale pastries, and unhappy employees.
“Planning to escape as soon as possible, Ruby somehow finds herself making a good impression on her boss, Frank Ferretti (Academy Award nominee Harvey Keitel), a former industry king who has been riding on his glory days. Needing a fresh take, Ferretti puts Ruby in charge of designing the company’s new app. While trying to hide her status working in the adult business, Ruby steps into her own power and slowly changes her tune on an industry that she might have a chance to change for the better.”
Craig costars as “Spread’s” mustachioed features editor Leslie. The ensemble is also set to feature Teri Polo, Diedrich Bader, Tim Rozon, and Diora Baird amongst others.
The actor took to Instagram to promote the feature, tongue very much in cheek: “Here it Finally is! The official Trailer for “Spread” premiering on [Tubi] on July 19th! Can’t wait for you to meet my new character “Leslie”….. he’s a real piece of 💩. Enjoy :)”
