Bay City is starting to look awfully crowded. Per Deadline, The Bay has cast Patrick Muldoon (ex-Austin Reed, Days of our Lives; ex-Richard Hart, Melrose Place), Jennifer Taylor, and Another World alum Rhonda Ross (ex-Toni Burrell) in starring roles.
The Bay Adds Three More To Cast
Muldoon and Taylor will be playing Caleb McKinnon’s (Mike Manning) conservative (read: homophobic) parents who severed contact with their son when he married Daniel Garrett (Eric Nelsen).
Meanwhile, Ross will debut as Coleen Givens, the biological mother of Pete Garrett’s (Kristos Andrews) wife Vivian (Karrueche Tran). The jazz singer will prove to be an ailing Vivian’s “only hope” — IF Pete can manage to locate her in time.
The announcement comes hot on the heels of several other high-profile hires including Dee Wallace (ex-Patricia Spencer, General Hospital), Olivia D’Abo, Tristan Mack Wilds, and Daytime Emmy-winner Jordi Vilasuso (ex-Rey Rosales, The Young and the Restless).
The Bay is written and directed by Gregori J. Martin and produced by LANY Entertainment in association with She Mogul Media. Episodes air weekdays on Popstar! TV and can also be viewed on Tubi and Peacock. The series is currently in contention for five Daytime Emmy Awards including Outstanding Drama Series.
