Phyllis Summers has gotten herself in quite a predicament on The Young and the Restless. Her rogue mission to expose Sharon as a killer was a sort-of success, but Sharon isn’t the only criminal in the room.
Phyllis Summers Did WHAT?!
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) was oh, so sure Sharon (Sharon Case) is a killer. She was also oh, so sure Sharon ran her off the road in a down-and-dirty murder attempt. While it’s true Sharon disposed of Heather’s body and set up Daniel (Michael Graziadei), the slaying is up in the air, and Sharon had nothing to do with Red’s accident. And, Phyllis knows that.
In fact, Phyllis is the only one who knows that Sharon didn’t cause her car to go careening into a tree. That was all Phyllis and her inability to put her phone down while behind the wheel. Sure, she thought she was getting messages from Sharon (Spoiler Alert: the texts are from Ian pretending to be Sharon), but that’s neither here nor there. The fact of the matter is, Red took her eyes off the road.
Will Phyllis Fess Up on The Young and the Restless?
The big question now is what’s Phyllis going to do? Will she admit she’s the only person responsible for her crash? Will she tell the cops she had her phone in her hand as she was speeding and not paying attention? No! Of course not! Red it a lot of things but honest is not one of them. Not when she can use her lie to take down an enemy.
Staying quiet is risky. Everything always comes out in the wash. Phyllis knows this better than anyone. She’ll get caught like she always does, but until then…why not play a little and make Sharon suffer?
