Victor has taken serious issue with Billy’s change to the Chancellor name and he wants the company back. This is gearing up to be another explosive corporate war The Young and the Restless is famous for. Normally, we’re Team Victor through and through, but this time…we kinda want to see him lose.

Hear us out…Victor has Newman Enterprises and Glissade under his thumb. Does he really need Chancellor, too? We totally understand him wanting to protect Katherine’s legacy (and we’re right there, too), but poor Billy (Jason Thompson) needs this win. Especially now.
Billy isn’t exactly known for his business savvy or his hard-hitting skills behind a desk. He’s a talker, a dreamer, a man who shoots for the stars. For him, Abbott-Chancellor is fast becoming his passion project and his purpose. It’s nice to see Billy concentrate on something that isn’t gambling, partying, and ruining his life. He finally has his stuff together and is ready to take on the business world in a real way.
Sadly, the company may soon also become his reprieve from his personal life. Everything is fast falling apart with Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Billy doesn’t take heartbreak well. He spirals and drowns his sorrows in bad behavior. With Abbott-Chancellor, he has somewhere to go and somewhere to channel all that energy.
Plus, wouldn’t it be fun to see The Great Victor Newman knocked down a peg by the one man he hates the most? It would definitely give Victor a moment of pause and have The Mustache reevaluating his every move. If Billy wins this battle, Victor will surely respond with an all-out war that will keep us on our toes for months and months to come!
