Lily Brooks O’Briant (Lucy Romalotti, The Young and the Restless), actress, activist, and loud and proud endometriosis survivor is using her voice, personal experience, and celebrity to fight the good fight.
Lily Brooks O’Briant – Survivor
In the same Instagram post where she lauded The Blossom Ball — “a night of celebration and charitable giving for Endometriosis Research and Education” — and fellow endometriosis survivor/the night’s special honoree Bindi Sue Irwin, O’Briant relayed that she and her sister are filming a documentary about the disease.
The focus will be on “how endometriosis affects teens in hopes that other young women don’t have to wait the average 8-10 years to be diagnosed & don’t have to suffer or be told that their pain isn’t real – bc we have better things to do in making the world a better place than to suffer in pain.”
