It was Dick Van Dyke (Timothy Robicheaux, Days of our Lives) who took home the statuette in the Outstanding Guest Performance category last Friday night, but nominee Linden Ashby (ex-Cameron Kirsten, The Young and the Restless) doesn’t begrudge him one bit!.
Linden Ashby Has An Amazing Outlook On Loss
“I didn’t win an Emmy but I won at having the prettiest girl in the world on my arm and in my corner,” enthused Ashby on Instagram. (The girl in question being his spouse of thirty-eight years Susan Walters [Diane Jenkins Abbott, Y&R]).
Linden continued: “And as far as Emmys go, I was honestly honored to lose to a man that I’ve admired both on and off screen for pretty much my whole life. All-in-all I spent the night feeling luckier than I have any right to be. Life is really really good.”
