Ahead of that milestone anniversary, long-time cast member — daughter of the series creators, William J. Bell and Lee Phillip Bell — Lauralee Bell (Christine Blair) put her castmates to the test of actually verbalizing what it is they’ll be celebrating. The results are mixed…and hilarious!

Said the actress in a statement: “We are all very proud of the incredibly high number of shows we have done over the past 51 years, but just because we’re having a little fun struggling to say ‘The Young and the Restless‘s thirteenth thousandth episode,’ that doesn’t mean we’re not extremely grateful for this accomplishment!!” And you know what they say — practice does make perfect!
