The Young and the Restless’ Phyllis Summers has thrown all pretenses out the door and reverted to form after many years of trying to change and be a more proper member of society. She might keep insisting she’s changed to her two adult children, but all actions say otherwise.
Phyllis Reverts To Form
Phyllis’ tenure on Y&R began when she managed to snag Danny from his beloved Cricket back in the early 1990s. Danny was off in New York doing a Broadway show and groupie Phyllis drugged and seduced him before passing off her child as his for years. That ended Danny and Christine’s marriage but it didn’t end Phyllis and Christine’s rivalry.
Even with Danny out of the picture, Phyllis couldn’t help but torture Christine. In fact, during her ultra-crazy years, she tried to kill Chris and Paul the night before their planned wedding by running them down with her car. She also planted a poisonous snake on their eventual honeymoon.
Now, Phyllis is back to square one as she once again tries to win Danny from Chris using tricks, seductions, and stunts. It also seems clear that Danny is just as much to blame for their original affair as she was since he is finding it hard to resist her.
Phyllis Goes For Broke With Danny
When Phyllis texted Danny to meet her for a drink in the Neil Winters Jazz Lounge, she decided she wouldn’t dress for the occasion at all. Instead, she puts a robe over her risque underwear and went downstairs. While sitting with Danny, she overtly flirted and made her sure her robe fell open just a bit in a display only worthy of the Phyllis of yesteryear.
Some fans loved this scene and other fans hated it, but actress Michelle Stafford was ready for any and all opinions as playfully poked fun at this amusing Y&R moment. Stafford took to Instagram with a few snaps of Phyllis’ bra out in the open, accompanied by the caption: “Ya know… just a normal dinner out. Remember, don’t hate the playa, hate the game 😉❤️ #YR #oldschoolphyllis #justadayattheoffice”
She’s certainly right that Old School Phyllis is back in action, so Christine will have to decide if she wants that battle again or if she will just move on.
