While Tucker has done little more than huff and puff and heem and haw since returning to The Young and the Restless, his portrayer, Trevor St. John, has been busy getting his latest passion project, A Good Enough Day, ready for its official release.
Trevor St. John Teases His Newest Work
St. John took to Instagram on Tuesday to share “exciting news,” namely that, “The feature film, A GOOD ENOUGH DAY, which I co-wrote, directed, and acted in, is set for release on Amazon and Apple one week from today, February 13th!”
Hi, #YR #TheYoungandtheRestless #youngandrestless @YRInsider. I have some exciting news to share. The feature film, A GOOD ENOUGH DAY, which I co-wrote, directed, and acted in, is set for release on Amazon and Apple one week from today, February 13th!

Way back in November 2021, news outlet The Spokesman Review covered a special screening of the independent flick held at Martin Woldson Theater at the Fox. They reported that the more than 100 guests were left in emotional straits by the conclusion which seemed to please St. John.
He told the publication, “One of the tenets of screenwriting is to really throw the kitchen sink at your protagonist to make his life as difficult as possible. How can we stop this guy? We want to make it impossible for him. The hill he has to climb has to be steep.”
At the time the plot of the movie was summed up as, “the emotional story of a terminal father, whose life was derailed after the death of his teenage son.”
In a subsequent interview with Inlander, St. John expounded on that synopsis, explaining, “It’s a cautionary tale about allowing grief to take over to transform your life. It [can] become something you can’t live with because you’re no longer living, you’ve been completely transformed by it. It’s shut you down. And that’s not a way to live. And at the same time, it’s not a message of ‘Hey, get over it.’ Yes, you’re grieving horribly, and it was life-altering and just horrible. But what about the rest of your life? What about now? What about the present moment?'”
In addition to St. John, A Good Enough Day‘s cast includes Sherri Saum (formerly Keri Reynolds on One Life to Live, and Vanessa Hart on Sunset Beach), Josh Wingate (ex-Carter, General Hospital), and Lisa Fuller.
