The Young and the Restless fans were over the moon when they finally got a glimpse of Claire Grace’s mysterious Aunt Jordan and learned the show was sleeping on one of the best-kept secrets in daytime — As the World Turns alum Colleen Zenk had been cast in the role.
Aunt Jordan’s Great Escape
Zenk went on to give a tour-de-force performance as Eve Howard’s unhinged sister bent on revenge against the Newman clan for perceived slights against her long-dead sibling. She even has an entire back story.
Jordan and Eve were estranged, but she wanted to do something to the Newman family to make them pay for Eve’s death (she died from a bee sting) so as a traveling nurse, she took Victoria’s newborn preemie and replaced her with a dead infant more than two decades ago.
It looks as if Victoria’s first child, Eve, is alive and well in the form of a 20-something young woman who believes she was abandoned and raised by a loving aunt, and not stolen and brainwashed for her entire life.
After nearly feeding vodka right into Nikki’s veins and nearly killing Victor, Nick, Victoria, and Cole with poisoned water, Claire was arrested and Jordan seemed to escape into the walls — quite literally. But that doesn’t mean there’s not more to come.
Colleen Zenk Isn’t Finished With Y&R
Zenk, who played Barbara Ryan on ATWT from 1978-2010, is forever thankful for fan reception to her daytime return, loving all the tributes on social media. When she expressed her gratitude for #ColleenZenkWeek on X (formerly Twitter), she offered a hint of what’s to come.
“Thank you all soooo very much for making me feel so wonderful and missed!!!” she posted. “I will never forget your #ColleenZenkWeek tributes!! You are all incredible, and I love you all!!!… so STAY TUNED to
@YandR_CBS!!! #AuntJordan isn’t finished with those #Newmans yet!!! Colleen #CZ.”
It looks like Victor better watch his back as he might be Jordan’s main target, but the rest of the Newmans might want to think twice before they ever take a sip of water again from a plastic bottle again.
