The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, May 9, 2024, tease a desperate Jordan begs for her life…or at least her freedom from the dungeon. Will her pleas work on The Great Victor Newman? Doubtful!
Previously On Y&R: Nate ran into Audra at the Jazz Club and they had a flirty little session. It was all in good fun but she made it clear she was still Tucker’s girl. As for Tucker, he ran into Devon and Abby and got the cold shoulder. Things got even chillier when he mentioned Ashley and suggested Abby keep a closer eye on her mom. Meanwhile, Ashley’s alters battled and her Southern Belle persona won. She ran off to meet (and flirt) with Alan. It was all going swimmingly when Tucker saw them at the GCAC and tried to insert himself as a third wheel. That’s how Audra found him and she dragged him off to their room. Later, Tucker promised Audra a trip to Europe. Downstairs, Ashley convinced Alan to stick around. Additionally, the Winters portion of Chancellor-Winters got a visit with Mamie, which did not go well. She wanted to destroy Billy and Jill and got upset when no one would side with her and start a war. She called Nate, Abby, Lily, and Devon children before storming off. Now, let’s talk about what’s coming up next.
Spare Me!
Jordan (Colleen Zenk) was all fine and good-ish locked up in the dungeon at first. This was all just a game, she thought. However, the onslaught of spiders has her running scared…except she has nowhere to run. She needs out of this hellhole and begs Victor (Eric Braeden) for her freedom. Or, at least a less dank and dark cell. Prison would be better than this.
Striking a deal with The Mustache won’t be easy. What does Jordan even have to offer? The vague promise to leave his family alone? The vow to disappear forever and never look back? She had grand plans when she had the upper hand but those days are over and Victor is in full and complete control.
Diane Puts Her Foot Down
Over at the Abbott abode, Diane (Susan Walters) makes it clear Jack’s (Peter Bergman) walking a fine line. Truth be told, if she didn’t love him so much she would already have her bags packed and be booking a room. But, she’s willing to give him one more chance…if he agrees to her conditions. She issues the ultimate ultimatum!
Jack best choose wisely here. He has one single shot to prove himself to his wife and if he falters she’ll be out the door. Jack loves Diane, but does he love her enough to meet her demands?
Listen To Your Mother
Meanwhile, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) gives Summer (Allison Lanier) some sound advice. Phyllis sure does love butting in, and this time, it may even be welcome. Summer is having a hard time since Harrison’s kidnapping and is struggling to feel safe and secure. Phyllis knows all about that feeling and offers her a perspective she may not have considered before.
