It was just about a week ago that Bold and the Beautiful put out a casting call for a new young lady. It looks like the search is over! The show has hand-picked Laneya Grace to join the cast in the role of Electra Forrester!
Welcome, Laneya Grace!
Who is Electra, exactly? According to Soap Opera Digest, she’s the granddaughter of Eric’s brother, John Forrester (played by the late Fred Willard). The newcomer will begin taping this week, with her first scenes airing on October 22nd.
We have to wonder what Electra’s future holds. Will she be paired up with Will Spencer? Or, will she take a page out of Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) book and date someone a little closer to home? Once upon a time, Steffy and Rick tried to make a go at love, despite Rick (Jacob Young) being Ridge’s (Thorsten Kaye) kinda-sorta brother (it’s a good thing Ridge belongs to Massimo and not Eric!). Will Electra and RJ (Joshua Hoffman) follow suit? Adding to Electra’s move to Los Angeles is a familiar face following along.
