The Bold and the Beautiful is pulling out all the stops bringing Taylor Hayes back to the stage. The last we saw of her, Krista Allen was the face of the character until she faded off screen. Now, Taylor is back…and once again, with a whole new look. One that will be mighty familiar to Guiding Light, All My Children, and General Hospital fans!

The Bold and the Beautiful Welcomes Rebecca Budig!

Multi-time Daytime Emmy nominee Rebecca Budig is checking in as the messy psychiatrist. This is great timing for the show with Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) on their way back from Monte Carlo closer and more romantic than ever, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) in a war with Hope (Annika Noelle), Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) gearing up to wed Paris (Diamond White), the pizzeria murder mystery, and Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) on the loose. Having Taylor home to add to the drama is the cherry on top!

What better way to introduce the new face of Taylor than by stalking Ridge and Brooke on their trip? She made quite the debut and we can’t wait to see what more she’ll bring to the role! What a great debut for the famous star. (If you haven’t watched the Tuesday, August 6th episode, you’ll want to check it out and get your first look.)

Budig started her daytime career back in 1995 when she was cast as Michelle Bauer on Guiding Light. She made quite a splash in the fandom and it was a sad day when she left the set in 1998. From there, she played Greenlee Smythe on All My Children on and off from 1999-2011. In 2015, she elated the General Hospital fandom by showing up on set as Hayden Barnes and became an insta-fan fave. Her character is still very much-missed over at ABC.
