The Bold and the Beautiful flew Thorsten Kaye and Katherine Kelly Lang to Monte Carlo for some on-location fashionable fun. Brooke and Ridge took the city by storm and made quite a splash for Forrester Creations. It was a stunning shoot and Kaye is thankful to be part of the fabulous trip.
Thorsten Kaye Dishes on Monte Carlo
In a recent interview with Soap Opera Digest, Thorsten Kaye talked about the getaway and how much he enjoyed every minute. Plus, his time in Europe also served another, much more personal purpose. “Monte Carlo is the greatest place in the world,” he boasted. “It’s always great to go there, and [after we wrapped], I got to go to England for a few days and check out the school that [daughter] Marlowe wants to go to.”
As for taking this flight with Katherine Kelly Lang, Kaye is a huge fan of making sure she’s in the spotlight. “I’m a fan of Kelly’s and want her to have material that she can shine doing…This also gives more depth to Ridge and Brooke.”
Of course, all good things must come to an end. Ridge and Brooke are slated to return to Los Angeles, and once they’re there, the drama heats up! Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) may be happy with Brooke’s selling power, but she’s not about to bow down to the woman. “Is it weighing on him? Probably a little bit,” Thorsten Kaye told the publication. “I think he is trying to find a way to make these women like each other. That’s always tough. It has nothing to do with him, but I think he’s trying to find situations that he can put them in where they both see the value of each other.”
Will the day ever come where Steffy and Brooke get along? That remains to be seen. For now, us fans will have to just enjoy the ride. Plus, with Taylor (Rebecca Budig) on her way home to Los Angeles, Brooke and Ridge may find themselves in a whole different war.
