This week’s The Bold and the Beautiful recap for the week of April 26th, 2024, featured a shaky hunt for a shady player, a young couple trying to work through betrayal, a man obsessed, and so, so much more!
Monday, April 22
Hope (Annika Noelle) and Finn (Tanner Novlan) continued their conversation about Sheila (Kimberlin Brown). He opened up about his confusing connection to his birth mom. He should despise her, but she’s still the woman who gave him life.
Meanwhile, Liam (Scott Clifton) and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) discussed much the same things. She was upset over Deacon’s (Sean Kanan) ten-toes tale. Steffy knew who she killed and didn’t appreciate all Deacon’s drama.
As for Deacon, he got the scoop on Sugar from L
auren (Tracey Bregman). She relayed the whole sordid tale of Sheila conning Sugar and how the dupe was discovered. Perhaps this was a revenge mission gone wrong? Deacon was determined to figure it out.
Tuesday, April 23
Deacon grabbed a coffee and took a deep dive into his computer to figure out this whole Sheila/Sugar situation. It didn’t take him long to realize exactly what went down and the woman he helped cremate wasn’t his fiancé at all.
Over at the Cliff House, Steffy and Finn came home from the beach and cuddled up. They nearly let themselves get swept away by the passion but current events kept them grounded when the subject of Sheila came into play.
Meanwhile, RJ (Joshua Hoffman) told his mother about Luna (Lisa Yamada) cheating…and the circumstances surrounding the affair. Much to his surprise, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) stood firmly on Luna’s side. She was accidentally drugged, it wasn’t her fault! She did agree to not tell Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), though, since RJ didn’t want Zende punished on a professional level. What a great guy!
Wednesday, April 24
RJ and Luna ran into each other at the office and things were awkward…at first. Eventually, they talked about missing each other which led to hugging it out. He could forgive her but he won’t forget what Zende did.
As for Zende, he threw himself a pity party and whined to Carter about wanting Luna. Carter didn’t hold back. He let Zende have it about messing with his cousin’s gal.
Hope paid Finn and Steffy a visit and apologized for her dad. After Finn left, she and Steffy found common ground and agreed to stand united against Deacon’s claims. At the same time, Deacon summoned Finn to the restaurant and dropped the bomb about Sugar!
Thursday, April 25
Ridge and Brooke shared a romantic moment before kissing turned into talk of the children…and Sheila. They agreed Deacon’s claims are outlandish, at best. Ridge suggested Hope stay away from the man, but Brooke wanted her daughter to have a relationship with her dad. Her ex needs the family and support.
At the same time, Steffy and Hope discussed Deacon as well. They also agreed Deacon was out of his mind with grief and they shouldn’t play into it. Steffy then asked Hope about what Finn’s been saying…and did not like that Hope wouldn’t fully open up. Hope did admit Finn talked about his confusing feelings with her, though.
As for Deacon, he relayed the whole Sugar story to Finn and begged him to believe him. He laid out all the suspicious-sounding details and gave Finn quite the history lesson. Finn wasn’t sure what to make of it all. It sounded like something out of a soap opera! (See what we did there…)
Friday, April 26
Steffy kissed Finn goodbye and headed to the office to touch base with her dad. Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) just came home after visiting Thomas and Douglas and they had much to discuss…especially when it came to Deacon.
Across the hall, Brooke sat with Luna and showed her serious love and support. She’s been in Luna’s shoes before and knows how she feels. Luna shot down Brooke’s instance Zende took advantage of her, though.
Meanwhile, Finn was called down to the restaurant again for another round of Deacon’s storytelling. This time, he agreed to help Deacon in his search. It didn’t take long to get leads. First, from the convenience store clerk (played by Sean Kanan’s real-life daughter, Juliet Vega), and then from Tom (Clint Howard), a homeless man who pointed them in the direction of a dilapidated building.
Pan to inside said building, there was a woman sleeping under dirty blankets. Sheila, is that you? The guys may soon find out!
