Today’s Days of Our Lives recap for December 4, 2023, details Nicole’s determination, Dimitri’s loyalty, and Holly’s big lie.
Sloan Freaks Out At Confident Nicole
Nicole (Arianne Zucker) was excited to finally get proof that the baby Eric (Greg Vaughan) thought was his was really hers. (Well, he’s both of theirs, but neither one of them knows that.) Nicole suddenly began thinking of Eric and how he’d feel learning he had to hand the infant over to Nicole when the test results came back.
When Eric didn’t seem bothered at all, Nicole assumed it was because Eric thought she was crazy and the DNA test would prove that. Eric tried to placate her but Nicole wouldn’t have it. She knew that was her baby and nobody could tell her otherwise.
A perpetually confused Eric wondered how he would even have ended up with Nicole’s child, so Nicole rightfully accused Sloan (Jessica Serfaty) of stealing him. When Eric was incredulous at the accusations, Nicole asked that she was capable of baby stealing, so why wouldn’t Sloan be? She also pointed out the bad security at the hospital.
Eric eventually called Sloan and told her about the DNA test, causing Sloan to freak out and head straight to Kayla’s (Mary Beth Evans) office. When she got there, she encountered Nicole alone. Nicole assured her the tests would prove the baby was hers.
Dimitri And Leo’s Love Is Put To The Test
Dimitri (Peter Porte) still couldn’t believe he was about to turn himself in just to save Leo (Greg Rikaart). It was so self-sacrificing of him and not at all in character, but this was what one does for love, right? However, a knock at the door interrupted his thoughts. It was Jackie Cox, one of the drag queens from the first Beyond Salem installment.
He was also Leo’s ex-husband, and wanted to help Dimitri get to Canada but not Leo. He even had a drag costume ready for him and was willing to help just so Leo would be left heartbroken behind bars. Jackie did everything he could to get Dimitri to betray Leo but
Sloan informed EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) of Dimitri’s plans. He just had to drop all charges against Leo first. EJ immediately balked at the idea, especially when Dimitri wasn’t about to take the blame for the baby’s death. After Sloan finally talked some sense into EJ, Leo decided he didn’t want the deal. However, he was happy when Dimitri suddenly showed up in the interrogation room.
Tate Turns The Tables On Holly
Tate (Jaime Martin Mann) did his best to keep Chanel (Raven Bowens) from returning to The Brady Pub and disrupting Holly (Ashley Puzemis) and Johnny’s (Carson Boatman) little chat. He finally came up with a lie and told her he wanted to learn how to use the bakery oven. Chanel knew he was up to something and told him to wait to see if he got the job.
Johnny was surprised that Holly got Eric to agree to run a DNA test on the baby he and Sloan adopted out of nowhere. After that conversation ended, Holly tried to make small talk about the odd friendship bracelet she made him, so a clueless Johnny tried to use her friendship to plan a romantic surprise for Holly.
After Johnny left the table, Chanel returned and told Holly that she knew she had a crush on her boyfriend. Holly denied everything before lying that her crush was on Tate and not Johnny. Chanel didn’t seem to believe her, especially when Tate returned and Holly told him that they couldn’t be together due to Brady’s (Eric Martsolf) dating rules. That’s when Tate announced that his dad’s rules had changed.
