This week’s Days of our Lives recap for the week of June 24th, 2024, featured Harris taking his leave, Chanel and Johnny suffering a horrible loss, Leo confronting his mother, Gabi coming home, and so, so much more!
Days of our Lives Recap
Monday, June 24th
Harris (Steve Burton) broke Ava’s (Tamara Braun) heart by choosing a mission over their love. He decided to run off to help Hope track down Megan. Before leaving, he and Ava made love and they shared a tearful farewell. He wasn’t sure when…or if…he’d return.
Brady (Eric Martolf) and Theresa (Emily O’Brien) hauled the teens out of the hotel room and back to their respective houses. Brady dragged Tate (Leo Howard) home and Theresa escorted Holly (Ashley Puzemis) to the DiMera mansion. Once there, fireworks ensued between her and Nicole. Later, Theresa went home to whine to Alex who turned her night around with a proposal!
Eric (Greg Vaughan) checked in with Marlena (Deidre Hall) who got him ice cream to soothe his shattered soul. As it turns out, the ice cream made a nice treat while he got to witness the fireworks between Brady and Tate.
Tuesday, June 25th
Leo (Greg Rikaart) showed up to see Diana (Judith Chapman) to reconcile their past. Sadly, it did not go well. Diana was NOT sorry for being a terrible mother. She was NOT sorry about how she treated Leo. And, she was NOT sorry for all the vicious things she’s said. In fact, she said them again just to get her point across.
Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) enjoyed breakfast with Kate (Lauren Koslow). She did not enjoy hearing he was leaving again. Before he did, though, he stopped by to see Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes). The pair managed to keep Abby’s situation from Jack (Matthew Ashford), but boy did they fill in Lucas!
Chanel (Raven Bowens) closed up the bakery once and for all and started their goodbye tour. They bid farewell to Dr. Greene, Felicity, and then Abe (James Reynolds) and Paulina (Jackée Harry). Unfortunately, while her parents’ apartment, Chanel doubled over in pain.
Wednesday, June 26th
On this episode of Days of our Lives, tragedy struck and Chanel lost the baby. She and Johnny held each other while Dr. Greene delivered the terrible news. Instantly, grief overcame Chanel and she point-blank blamed Paulina. This was all HER fault!
Across town, Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) and Xander (Paul Telfer) had a talk about their wedding…and his mother. Sarah was still determined to track the woman down. Also talking about marriage were Theresa and Alex. They told Bonnie (Judi Evans) and Justin (Wally Kurth) all about their engagement. She feigned joy but later, when Alex was gone, Theresa got the cold shoulder.
Leo was still reeling from seeing his mom and snagged an extra session with Marlena (Deidre Hall). he didn’t just chat about his mom, though, he brought up Dr. Greene too. The good doc was giving Leo mixed signals and he wanted to know more about him.
Thursday, June 27th
EJ delivered crushing news that he failed to free Gabi, which caused Stefan to melt down. He sent his brother right back out the door and demanded he offer Melinda (Tina Huang) immunity for stealing Jude in exchange for the black book. While EJ ran off, Stefan went to visit his wife.
Xander got to the office and got right on Nicole’s last nerve. They had it out over their past baby-snatching ways. When they exhausted that argument, they talked about Xander’s past with his parents…spoiler alert, it wasn’t good. At the same time, Eric fretted over his future. He told Ramon he was thinking about leaving town. It was too hard being in Salem.
Alex told Brady he and Theresa were engaged. Brady suggested he rethink that since he was sure Theresa was only after Alex’s money (he’s right). Meanwhile, Sarah and Bonnie redied the invitations, including one to Xander’s mom hoping they have her right address. Theresa nearly had a panic attack. Luckily, she got her hands on the invites and threw it away. Unlucky for her, Bonnie found it and it’s getting mailed.
Friday, June 28th
Ending the week on Days of our Lives, everyone was devastated by the loss of Chanel and Johnny’s baby. Chanel blamed Paulina and wouldn’t let up. Poor Paulina had no choice but to leave. She cried to Abe’s shoulder. Back at the hospital, Johnny and Chanel decided to stay in Salem, for now.
Not staying in Salem is Eric. He told Nicole he was packing up and leaving town. She tried to talk him out of it but he was adamant. He couldn’t stay here, it hurt too much.
Great news came Gabi and Stefan’s way…all thanks to EJ striking an immunity deal with Melinda. She got off scot-free, handed over the black book, and within hours, Gabi was a free woman, too! Gabi’s first stop was to shower and go see her daughter.
