Days of our Lives spoilers for January 1-5, 2024, promise a perilous start to the new year as lives are on the line as Salemites continue to commit crimes.
Monday, January 1
Tate (Jamie Martin Mann) is beside himself when he finds Holly (Ashley Puzemis) passed out in the alley behind the Bistro. When she’s rushed to the hospital, Nicole (Arianne Zucker) fears she may lose another child just when she feels her life is coming together again.
Theresa (Emily O’Brien) defends her son when Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) wonders if he might have been the one to give Holly pills. She knows her son better than that and what she and Brady taught him about addiction. Harris (Steve Burton) also has some questions but they’re directed at Ava (Tamara Braun).
Paulina (Jackee Harry) has been concerned with the new Salem drug ring, but as she rings in the new year with Abe (James Reynolds), her health is on her mind rather than her job as mayor.
Tuesday, January 2
Tate still finds himself in the hot seat when EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) now believes Tate was the one responsible for Holly’s overdose. He vows to make the teen pay for something he tried to stop before it even started. EJ also confronts Stefan (Brandon Barash) about what happened behind his new restaurant.
Ava has a lot to answer for as Clyde (James Read) has another order in store and Tripp (Lucas Adams) demands to know if she has anything to do with the drugs coming through Salem. How will she get out of this one?
Wednesday, January 3
As Nicole sits vigil at Holly’s side while willing her to wake up, EJ continues to blame Stefan for what happened, as well as several others. However, Everett (Blake Berris) is quite curious when he overhears an argument between the DiMera brothers.
Sloan (Jessica Serfaty) is not sure how to fix her life when her credit cards keep getting declined and Leo (Greg Rikaart) keeps asking for more. His spending habit is out of control but she has to keep him happy or she risks losing everything.
Thursday, January 4
When Tate digs in on his confession, does that mean he decides to take the fall for Holly’s drug use although he did his best to talk her out of taking the tainted pills?
Brady (Eric Martsolf) remains beside himself regarding what is happening to Tate. John is there to give him advice, having lived through his son’s addiction. Little do they know that Tate does not do drugs.
At least someone is happy in Salem as Johnny (Carson Boatman) and Chanel (Raven Bowens) wake up on New Year’s Day having no idea what happened to his stepsister after they left the Bistro.
Friday, January 5
After their New Year’s Eve taking care of a feverish Victoria and sharing a kiss as 2024 began, Xander (Paul Telfer) throws caution to the wind and asks Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) to move in with him. It’s a big step, so what will she say?
Wendy (Victoria Grace) is all set to move to China thinking that Tripp is coming along, but he is forced to give her some bad news at the last minute. Does this mean that Wendy will decide to stay in Salem, too?
After EJ revokes Tate’s bail, Brady and Theresa are forced to reassure their terrified son that things will be ok. They believe in him and will help him.
