General Hospital viewers were left on tenterhooks Monday, wondering as they were whether or not Gregory Chase had breathed his last. Now comes official word that Gregory Harrison is indeed out.
Gregory Harrison GOING
Gregory’s passing ended Harrison’s run on the ABC sudser, which began in November 2020. The actor succeeded James Read (Clyde Weston, Days of our Lives), who inhabited the part between June 6 and October 10, 2018.
During Harrison’s tenure, Gregory managed to make peace with his estranged firstborn — Michael Easton’s salty Hamilton Finn — heal his fractious family, and pseudo court both Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) all the while valiantly battling Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis AKA Lou Gehrig’s disease.
