Though in Massachusetts to appear in “Survival of the Unfit” at Great Barrington Public Theatre, Carolyn Hennesy (Diane Miller, General Hospital) wound up with a new fur-baby.

“Picked up a little something in the Berkshires,” the actress teased on Instagram. “The new addition went from being named Ernest to Bela Lugosi on account of biting me twice on our first full day together. He has since mellowed…I hope.
“Getting him into the carrier at 4:00 am will be fun. I suspect there will be some ground beef hiding a trazodone tablet in the process. He’s a gem of a boy. Thank you Ivey Abitz, for introducing me to the newest family member. I firmly believe that Sophie Tucker, Spanky Gene, and most especially Arbuckle, have sent him to me from afar, proving they are still watching and loving.”
