General Hospital may have celebrated its 60th anniversary back on April 1 of this year, but that doesn’t mean the soap isn’t taking the celebration into 2024.

60 Years Celebrated In Style
When GH marked 60 years on the air in April, it did so with a storyline that harkened back to yesteryear as a Cassadine once again tried to freeze the world, but also took it one step further as Victor tried to release a pathogen upon the planet that would wipe out much of the population.
It was up to Laura (Genie Francis) to once again save humanity with a little help from her grandson, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez), and his girlfriend, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali). Laura has a few other assistants, as well, including former enemy Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), along with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).
PEOPLE magazine also marked the occasion with a special 60th anniversary edition dedicated to the six decades of GH on our screens.
