Multi-Daytime Emmy Award-winning actress and director Heather Tom (Katie Logan, The Bold and the Beautiful) is adding “writer” to her already stacked resume.
Heather Tom Added To B&B Writing Team
During a recent livestream interview with Michael Fairman (alongside long-time leading man Don Diamont [Bill Spencer]), Tom shared that she’d just penned her third script for the sudser and cheekily added, “That’s kind of a new development.”
Taken a bit off guard by the revelation, Diamont nonetheless enthused: “Heather will be equally wonderful at writing as she is at acting, and as a director, her creative mojo is just off the chart. She is just so gifted and so committed, and it all matters to her. I just cannot say enough. It is the best thing of my career to work with this wonderfully talented woman and just a wonderful person.
Per Soap Opera Digest, the first episode crafted by Tom is slated to air on November 6, 2024. The actress has become the latest B&B star to pull double duty in the writer’s room following Lawrence Saint-Victor (Carter Walton)
