Katie is out to prove Poppy is nothing but a liar, a sham, and a murderer. This rivalry on The Bold and the Beautiful is definitely keeping fans on their toes and Heather Tom is loving every minute!

Heather Tom Spills All!

In a recent interview with Soap Opera Digest, Heather Tom discussed her beloved character and what’s really going on in Katie’s head. “We can assume that Bill and Katie, no matter how much they say they’ve moved on from each other, they never really fully move on,” the star explains. “And, they certainly don’t love seeing one or the other with another person!” While she also agrees Katie is jealous, she doesn’t think that’s the only reason for Katie’s digging.

First and foremost, Katie wants to make sure Luna (Lisa Yamada) actually IS Dollar Bill’s (Don Diamont) daughter. “she could possibly be lying about Luna [being Bill’s daughter],” which is something Katie has been skeptical about the entire time,” Tom told the publication. “It gives her [Poppy] motive for killing these two people because she’s got this nice cushy life and has clearly moved right in!” The last thing Katie wants is Bill bedding a killer!

Is Katie breathing a sigh of relief now that Katie is in jail? “I think she’s vindicated, but I don’t think she takes pleasure in it,” Tom says. “I think she’s relieved that her family is going to be safe and that justice is going to prevail.” Of course, an arrest doesn’t automatically make Poppy (Romy Park) guilty…but it sure does seem like all signs are pointing to it.

In true soap fashion, the drama is far from over. Right now, Katie…and Bill…and Luna…and everyone else are looking for answers and digging for the dirt. “I think Katie is trying to walk a line there where she doesn’t disrespect his feelings about that, but at the same time, she’s really trying to push him to make sure he has the truth about things.”

We can’t wait to see what the truth really is and where things will go from here. I sounds like the battle between Katie and Poppy is going to get worse before it gets any better…if it ever gets better at all!
