Today’s The Bold and the Beautiful recap for November 20, 2023, details Bill’s fascinating trip for some Italian food and Zende’s frustration with RJ’s rise to the top.
Zende Is Big Mad
Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) assumed Zende (Delon De Metz) wanted to have a meeting to discuss Hope For The Future, but his nephew had other ideas. He understood that Hope’s line had to take a back seat during the fashion showdown, but he didn’t understand why RJ (Joshua Hoffman) was now the star when he didn’t earn that right.
He wondered why he was passed over to help Eric (John McCook) design and RJ took the job as their grandfather’s assistant. He wondered if only Ridge’s kids would have the chance to shine and not his siblings’ kids. He was also Eric’s grandson and wanted to be treated as an equal.
Ridge finally told Zende that it was Eric who chose RJ and he had nothing to do with it. RJ overheard Zende accuse Ridge of lying, so he confirmed what Ridge said. Eric wanted RJ, which now made RJ feel guilty.
Needless to say, Zende was offended and let his feelings be known. Ridge also let his own feelings be known. They would respect anything that Eric wanted right now, even if Zende felt RJ didn’t deserve a job as a designer. He felt RJ was getting favoritism because he was Brooke and Ridge’s only child together.
After Zende stormed out in a huff, RJ suggested they tell Zende the truth about Eric, but Ridge refused.
A New Start For Bill?
Bill (Don Diamont) randomly decided to stop by Il Giordino to put Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) on notice. She tried to take his order but he had something more to say. He demanded that she stay away from Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Finn (Tanner Novlan) because he was worried about his granddaughter, Kelly.
Sheila insisted she was more focused on her job at the restaurant than anything else. She also pointed out that she saved Kelly but he accused her of luring the little girl into the water. Bill continued with the accusations and insisted she had to have something on the judge who set her free.
Suddenly, Poppy (Romy Park) caught Bill’s eye as she waited for Luna (Lisa Yamada) to arrive. Still, he focused back on Sheila and asked her how she ever thought she could have a normal life with Deacon (Sean Kanan) after all she’d done. When Luna showed up, Bill couldn’t help but to notice Poppy again.
Eventually, Sheila noticed him staring and decided to leave the table since Bill was no longer focused on threatening her. Meanwhile, Bill made a move and approached Luna and Poppy’s table. Something about her looked familiar and he wanted to know if they knew one another.
