The Bold and the Beautiful recap for November 29, 2023, details Eric’s deeper descent into illness and his family’s goals to support him.

Eric Is A Hot Mess

As Eric (John McCook), RJ, and Donna once again got to work designing more clothing for yet another Eric Forrester Grand Finale, Eric had another serious health episode. Donna insisted on calling the doctor, but once again, Eric balked at the idea.

Donna didn’t care at this point and called the doctor anyway. While waiting for Dr. Colby to arrive, Eric insisted on working but Donna worried all that work was depleting his energy. However, when the doctor walked into the office, he saw a sorry sight.

Eric was nearly passed out and coughing up blood. Donna begged the doctor to do something to help Eric live his last days in comfort. After the doctor examined Eric, he wanted to know if the dizziness was a regular thing. Eric claimed it had to be low blood sugar.

Donna insisted Eric needed to eat more and sleep better, but the doctor wanted Eric to go to the hospital. He needed a chest x-ray to know what stage his disease was in but Eric absolutely refused.

The Forresters Worry And Worry

Steffy met up with Brooke and Ridge in the design office where they once again discussed Eric’s condition. Ridge was concerned because he saw his dad’s hand shaking earlier but the women around him just wanted to praise Ridge.

Brooke was still so impressed that Ridge was allowing Eric to believe he won the fashion challenge. Ridge felt guilt for even competing against his father, to begin with. He had no idea he was sick and just wanted to win and beat his dad.

Steffy remained devastated, pointing out that Eric was always a refuge for her, someone she could always talk to and who gave her the best advice. Brooke was worried about the toll this was taking on RJ and Ridge wanted Eric to know they knew.

Brooke and Steffy had to talk Ridge out of telling Eric because they felt it was best for the elder Forrester’s emotional health. When RJ arrived to tell them about Eric’s episode, they were all more worried than ever.
