Today’s Bold and the Beautiful recap for November 27, 2023, details Hope telling it like it is to her father and Ridge having a proposition for his father.
Hope Defends Thomas
Deacon (Sean Kanan) was pleased that Hope (Annika Noelle) accepted his invitation and paid him a visit at Il Giardino. She was sad that she couldn’t see him for Thanksgiving but she refused to be with him since Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) seemed to come as a package deal.
Hope was incredulous when Deacon told her he wanted to talk about her relationship with Thomas (Matthew Atkinson). He didn’t think Thomas was right for her and she could barely believe her ears. He was with Sheila and had no room to talk about her romance.
Hope pointed out that Thomas was a saint compared to Sheila. She insisted that Thomas had changed for the better and was never as bad or dangerous as Sheila. She was very hurt because Deacon was choosing Sheila over her.
Deacon insisted that wasn’t what was happening. He didn’t understand why she couldn’t trust his intuition that Sheila had changed when Hope expected Deacon to feel the same way about Thomas. Hope rightly pointed out their situations were nowhere near the same.
Deacon was later shocked to learn that Hope would cut off access to Beth and Douglas if he continued his romance with Sheila.
Ridge Has A Big Idea
Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) tried to make positive small talk as she, RJ (Joshua Hoffman), and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) gathered in the design office. They had a pleasant Thanksgiving but it was hard to enjoy knowing that Eric (John McCook) was dying and not being able to tell him that they knew.
Ridge was still having a hard time accepting things and an even harder time accepting that everything was fine.
Meanwhile, Eric, Donna (Jennifer Gareis), and Katie (Heather Tom) remained upbeat with a proud Eric as they sat in his office. Sadly, Eric’s condition seemed to be deteriorating. He was still thinking about creating beauty, but he definitely did not look good.
As he spoke of his new connection, Eric suddenly had a coughing fit and insisted once again that nobody find out what was really going on with him. They had to keep it a secret from the world. When Donna tried to get Eric to see the doctor, he refused. The doctor seemed like the Grim Reaper to him. He didn’t want dying to take the place of him living his best life for as long as he could.
Katie allowed Donna and Eric to have some time alone and stopped into the design office to tell Ridge that letting Eric believe he won the fashion challenge was the best thing he could have done. That’s when Ridge broke down and wondered how he was going to watch his dad die.
Finally, Ridge went to see Eric in his office to tell him he wanted to design one last collection with him.
