Today’s The Bold and the Beautiful recap for November 14, 2023, details Ridge informing his kids about their grandfather, Eric wanting to design another line, and more.

More Forrester Heartache

Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) readied to tell Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) the truth about Eric (John McCook) with Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) by his side. When they arrived at Eric’s office, they couldn’t imagine what Ridge was about to say. First, he told them that Eric didn’t really win the challenge and then he explained why he lied about the winner.

It wasn’t easy to get the words out, but Ridge told them that Eric was dying and only had about six months left. They couldn’t understand why they weren’t told the truth sooner but Ridge explained that Eric still didn’t want people to know. Even Ridge wasn’t supposed to know.

Ridge admitted he still had to call Eric’s other kids after Steffy seemed to be the only one to think of them. They wanted to see their grandfather right away, but Ridge warned them not to. If they did, Eric would know that RJ spilled the beans.

Eric’s New Goal

Eric was on the phone bragging about his fashion win when a coughing fit came on. He quickly hung up so Donna (Jennifer Gareis) could help him through it. Katie (Heather Tom) stopped in and noticed a tense moment as Donna tried to get Eric to call his doctor.

Once Katie was settled, they changed the subject to the fashion challenge and Eric’s big moment. Eric only wanted positive talk so he sang RJ’s (Joshua Hoffman) praises and wondered if RJ finally found the right girl in Luna (Lisa Yamada). He thought she was amazing because she found his old stapler.

When Eric announced his intention to go into the office, Donna was alarmed and tried to get him to rest. Eric even wanted to design another line since he believed that the last one was such a success. Donna and Katie argued with him and suggested he see Bridget for a second opinion. Eric insisted he still didn’t want anyone to know his diagnosis.

Luna’s Sick Of Li

RJ lamented Eric’s plight with Luna there to comfort and embrace him. Poppy (Romy Park) popped into the design office and interrupted their moment. She was happy to meet the famous RJ but surprised when she learned that RJ went to bat for Luna with Li (Naomi Matsuda).

Poppy had to admit that Li wasn’t backing down and still demanded that Luna quit her job at Forrester Creations immediately. Luna was not about to do that and tried to encourage her mother to stand up to her aunt. Luna was tired of allowing Li to run their lives and decide what they do
