The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Zende Learns The Truth About Eric

Today’s The Bold and the Beautiful recap for December 4, 2023, details Zende’s demands for answers and Eric’s refusal to get any help.

Zende Is Devastated

Zende (Delon De Metz) wasn’t happy when he saw RJ (Joshua Morrow) in the design office looking like he was about to take over the place. When Zende saw what RJ was drawing, he bluntly told his cousin that he had a lot to learn. RJ explained he was learning from Eric (John McCook), but Zende only accused him of throwing that fact in his face.

Zende reminded RJ that he hadn’t paid his dues at Forrester Creations, nor was he a trained designer. Zende once again referred to RJ as the golden child because he was Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) only child together.

He thought it was ludicrous that Eric would choose someone with no design experience to help him design couture and was convinced Brooke and Ridge put Eric up to bringing RJ on board. RJ denied it, but Zende didn’t buy it.

That’s when Ridge walked in and finally told Zende the truth, something he should have done weeks ago considering Zende was his sister’s son. Needless to say, Zende was devastated to learn his grandfather was dying. He wanted to go to Eric right away, but Ridge explained why he couldn’t. Family members were not even supposed to know.

Eric Terrifies Donna

Donna (Jennifer Gareis) was beside herself at home when Eric collapsed and she had a hard time getting him to come to. As she called 911, Eric finally woke, but he still refused to see a doctor and kept making jokes as Donna cried. He even wanted a martini.

After a few more jokes, a tear-filled Eric told Donna how much he was going to miss her when he was gone, which only caused her to cry more.

Brooke and Ridge continued lamenting Eric’s condition, which alarmed Hope (Annika Noelle) when she walked into Eric’s office. She thought he had taken a turn for the worse and was right but Brooke and Ridge didn’t know that yet.

Hope was shocked to hear that Eric wanted to throw a party while he was dying and wondered if that was a good idea. After Ridge left the room, Hope became a support for her mother as she worried about Ridge.
