The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for for October 17, 2023, show Donna receiving shocking news about Eric’s health before she tries to pressure him about coming clean to others. Will he choose to disclose his health crisis to his loved ones or prioritize the fashion competition?

Donna’s Devastation

Donna (Jennifer Gareis) is surprised to learn how serious Eric’s (John McCook) condition is. It’s worse than she ever imagined and can’t see him keeping his medical crisis from Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and the other Forresters much longer.

Despite Donna’s wishes for him to face this struggle head-on and be truthful with his loved ones, Eric still feels he needs a triumph in this fashion contest first. That will be easier said than done as Eric’s health continues to decline.

Luna’s Secrets and Family Tensions

Li (Naomi Matsuda) is under pressure from Finn (Tanner Novlan) to provide information about Luna (Lisa Yamada). When Finn saw his cousin after so many years, he was ecstatic. However, he is shocked when he speaks to Li and his mother makes it clear that she wants Luna to resign and leave the city.

Finn asks questions but gets no responses in return. He makes an effort to delve further because he believes there must be something else going on, but Li is unwilling to help. Is Finn going to be able to find out the truth?

Meanwhile, Luna is concerned that Poppy’s (Romy Park) warning about her dreams possibly becoming nightmares will come true and negatively impact her future at Forrester Creations as Li may threaten to reveal all of her secrets. Of course, Luna’s secrets could affect Li’s life, so it would be best to keep them quiet.

Sheila’s Unexpected Job Opportunity

Li has a very busy day. Not only does she have contentious conversations with Luna and Finn, but she also has a heated argument with Sheila (Kimberlin Brown), a woman she will never forgive for having an affair with her husband and nearly killing her son and daughter-in-law last year. However, Sheila’s day gets better when Li is one and she accepts a new job working alongside Paul at Il Giardino. Is this really the start of a new beginning for Sheila or will Li push her to revert back to her evil ways?
