Thursday’s edition of The Bold and the Beautiful has many characters making plans. Finn makes a decision regarding his birth mother Sheila. Meanwhile, Douglas isn’t giving up his wish for Hope and Thomas to be a family. Here’s a glimpse at what to expect for Sept. 21, 2023.
Douglas Plans A Surprise For His Parents
Little Douglas is back and already winning over the audience with his adorable demeanor. The youngster expressed his concern about Hope being sad following her split with Liam. He then suggests Hope could be happy if she got with Thomas and the three of them could be a family. Unbeknownst to Douglas, Thomas has been making Hope happy with their secret passionate hookups. When it comes to a possible future together, the couple isn’t ready to take that leap, just yet. Hope wants to take things slow and clear her head before she makes a big commitment.
Hope and Thomas gently turned down Douglas’ request, but it definitely gives the couple something to think about. Meanwhile, Douglas isn’t giving up on his matchmaking. The young lad plans a romantic surprise in hopes of pushing his parents together. Hope and Thomas will be in awe of Douglas’ gift, and it might put them one step closer to making their relationship official.
Deacon Hides Sheila From Hope
Speaking of Hope, she almost finds herself in the middle of a perilous family situation. She comes close to catching her dad with Sheila during a surprise visit. However, Deacon manages to hide Sheila from his daughter in the nick of time. While Sheila’s tucked away in the other room, Deacon and Hope have a long overdue chat. Hope’s been going through a rough time and Deacon wants to help in any way that he can. Their discussion will consist of Hope and Liam’s separation. Deacon will comfort Hope and remind her it’s possible they’ll reconcile. With her marriage over, Hope tells Deacon about her relationship with Thomas to save Brooke the trouble of blabbing the secret. She’ll also bring up Douglas’ wish for her, him, and Thomas to be a family. Deacon won’t be thrilled with the idea of Hope with Thomas. Being the protective father he is, Deacon will caution Hope about becoming involved with Thomas. However, Deacon shouldn’t be one to judge since he’s dating a dangerous criminal. Although that’s a secret for Deacon to share at a later time.
Finn Makes A Decision About Sheila
Poor Finn is conflicted about his feelings toward his mother Sheila. He knows she’s dangerous because he and his family were victims of her crimes. Yet, she’s still his mother and he’ll always feel a connection to her. Unfortunately, Finn’s compassion for Sheila has led to issues in his marriage. When Sheila began making her pop-up appearances again, Steffy blamed Finn for allowing Sheila back into their lives. Fearing for her and her children’s safety, Steffy fled to Europe. Finn’s a lonely, broken-hearted mess since Steffy’s departure, but things are about to change. After his talk with Li, Finn realizes he needs to end the Sheila madness to save his marriage. He decides it’s time to remove Sheila from his life, but how far will he go to make that happen?
As for Sheila, her obsession with Finn is still in high gear. Finn’s given her hope that they can have a relationship. With Steffy gone, Sheila sees this as the perfect opportunity to get back into her son’s life. Despite Finn’s warnings, Sheila will continue to make her presence known. However, Sheila’s plans for a family life with Finn will be thwarted by her son’s decision.
