The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for for December 18-22, 2023, promise another week of heartache and strife for the Forrester family as Ridge makes a bad decision and Eric’s life still hangs in the balance.

Monday, December 18

Eric (John McCook) might still in in the hospital fighting for his life, but that doesn’t mean that Zende (Delon De Metz) and RJ (Joshua Hoffman) are now able to get along. In fact, the two young men argue about Eric and Forrester Creations — and who should be a designer once again.

Since Eric (John McCook) is still unconscious and on a ventilator, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) once again wonders if he made the right decision for his father. Did he put Eric through agony for nothing — as well as give his family hope?

Tuesday, December 19

Just in case Eric can never design again, Ridge decides that he should finish Eric’s final collection for him. However, he needs RJ’s help in order to do it and Zende is not happy with this news at all.

As Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) waits for news on Eric’s condition, she reflects on the life she led with him. He was her first husband and the father of her two oldest children. Heck, she even married him twice, as well as both of his sons.

Wednesday, December 20

Finn (Tanner Novlan) and Bridget (Ashley Jones) remain on edge after Eric’s surgery. They are still waiting for him to wake when Finn confides his greatest fear. Does he worry about being a doctor who does more harm than good, which is against everything doctors are supposed to stand for?

Back at Forrester Creations, Zende makes a surprising realization and shares his thoughts with Luna (Lisa Yamada). Is he trying to move in on RJ’s girlfriend? That’s a way to get his cousin where it hurts.

Thursday, December 21

Ridge isn’t the only one worried that it was a bad idea to have Finn and Bridget perform that procedure on Eric. Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) also wonders if she pushed her husband and father too hard.

At least Finn and Bridget are still on the case when they come up with another option for Eric. This once again puts Ridge in an impossible position.

Friday, December 22

Are we in store for even more flashbacks as Eric remains on a ventilator, unable to breathe on his own? Ridge, Steffy, Finn, Bridget, and Brooke all discuss Eric’s wishes while all remembering treasured moments with the Forrester patriarch.
