The Bold and the Beautiful fans thought they saw the last of Wyatt Spencer months ago when Darin Brooks announced his departure from the show, but now he will be back on Wednesday, January 17.

When We Last Saw Wyatt…

In October, eagle-eyed B&B fans noticed that Brooks was no longer show’s credits, so the actor took to Instagram to explain that turn of events and tell fans he was off the show.

“Until we meet again,” Brooks wrote. “So, many of you have seen that I am no longer in the credits on @boldandbeautifulcbs and after 10 amazing years, it’s time for me to say ‘Until we meet again…’ to Wyatt Spencer… (Doesn’t mean it’s the end, just… bye for now…🙂).”

He went on to thank fans and B&B Executive Producer Brad Bell for his decade as one of Dollar Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) long-lost sons.

“Honestly, I have to thank the big man, Brad Bell, for having me, you seriously changed my life man,” Brooks continued. “Love and appreciate you, always! The experiences, the trips, the memories, the friendships… All will forever hold a special place in my heart!!

“And to the many, MANY fans around the world watching this show… THANK YOU!! For always watching and enjoying what I LOVE TO DO!! You all touched my heart just by tuning in every day and being a part of our Bold and Beautiful family!!”

Why Is Wyatt Back?

Although Wyatt is set to appear on January 17, there is no mention of the character in the B&B teasers for this week. However, that does not mean he won’t show up breaking bread with both his father and brother as they discuss their love lives or lack thereof.

Bill has entered into a new romance with Finn’s (Tanner Novlan) Aunt Poppy (Romy Park), so Wyatt might find the news to be surprising. Will he also get news from Liam (Scott Clifton) about anything mysterious he’s been up to of late?

Finally, will we get an update on Wyatt’s love life? The last we heard, he was still engaged to Felony Flo (Katrina Bowden), the woman who actually helped steal Hope (Annika Noelle) and Liam’s baby and sold her to Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Stay tuned to find out.
