The Bold and the Beautiful got fans riled up when they paired Thomas and Hope. For many, this was the dream. For others, this was a fail seeing as how Thomas manipulated the situation for so long. Whatever side you stand on, nothing compares to the reactions of Thomas coming home with his ring on Paris’s finger.
The Ultimate Bold and the Beautiful Twist
This was something no one saw coming. Not only was Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) already dating but he was already engaged…and Douglas is now calling Paris (Diamond White) “mom”?? Talk about rushing into things! Hope (Annika Noelle) said it all when her jaw dropped to the floor. We gasped, too. Who wouldn’t?! He was only gone a month.
Is this engagement all it’s cracked up to be, though? Thomas claims he’s finally happy, settled, and ready for a forever life with his new flame. And, Paris is saying much the same. In fact, she’s spent the majority of her week trying to convince Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) this relationship is legit and she’s head over heels in love with his son. And, we have no doubt she’s utterly infatuated.
Is Thomas just as much in love? He says he is. He keeps going on and on about how he and Paris clicked and it all fell into place, but we’re not so sure. We must remember he did this exact thing to Zoe (Kiara Barnes) when Hope kept turning him down. And, it worked back then. Hope interrupted the wedding and came down that aisle as fast as her legs could carry her.
Could it be that Thomas is playing a shady love game again? Is he expecting Hope to blow her top and fight for his love? If so, this manipulation tactic is once again working…but for how long? Hope has made it clear that she won’t fight over a man (except maybe Finn, if she ever gets the chance), and she doesn’t want a fella with a divided heart. If this is a stunt, Thomas may have blown his shot.
If Hope decides to simply let Thomas go, what then? Will he stay true to his word, marry Paris, and plan a long life together? Or, as some The Bold and the Beautiful fans predict, will he dump her and get back to scheming for his obsession? This is one messy storyline and we can’t wait to see what twists and turns are coming up next!
