It’s no secret that Steffy and Sheila are basically mortal enemies on The Bold and the Beautiful. So much so, Steffy nearly didn’t officially marry Finn after finding out. In fact, she’s questioned their relationship quite a few times over the years. Now, with her most recent return and Finn’s reaction to his mommy being alive, Steffy isn’t sure if she should stay in her marriage at all.

All the Reasons to Leave

First and foremost, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) needs to protect herself and her children. Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) nearly killed her not too long ago and she can’t trust the She-Devil won’t strike again. Sure, Steffy could play nice and put up a front to keep Sheila at bay but that would mean including her in the family. That’s not something Steffy is comfortable doing.

Finn (Tanner Novlan) has agreed to stay away from his mother, however, we saw how well that worked out last time. Sheila was hailed a hero for stalking him and Kelly at the beach because she just so happened to save the little girl from drowning. Adding to that is Finn’s calling his mother a hero once again just days ago. She simply can not trust his judgment.

Leaving Finn will give Steffy a shot at love with someone who doesn’t have a murderer for a mom (ahem, Liam). All the Steam fans will get what they want if those two hook up again. Oh sure, Liam has spent decades waffling between her and other women, namely Hope (Annika Noelle), but isn’t that better than looking over her shoulder every second of the day?

A Forever Love

Let’s look at this from a different perspective. What if Sheila HAS changed and is truly a different person? Doesn’t she deserve another shot? She and Steffy could very well build a healthy, sustainable relationship and give Finn a shot to have his whole family as part of his world. As long as Sheila behaves, it would be a win-win all the way around. There’s nothing better than a village, right?

Plus, breaking up means ending this beautiful love story that’s kept viewers on the edge of their seats. Finn is Steffy’s perfect match and they fit together so well. No one has loved her as much or as deeply. They have a beautiful family, have made a beautiful home, and could have a beautiful future…if she and Finn can find a way to have it all.
