When The Bold and the Beautiful first introduced the character of Luna to the fictional LA fashion scene, we knew she had a secret, but we also thought that secret was pretty harmless.

Luna Is Finn’s Cousin

Learning that Luna (Lisa Yamada) was Li Finnegan’s (Naomi Matsuda) niece and John ‘Finn’ Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) cousin seemed innocuous enough. Li and her sister had a family falling out so she resents Luna and her mother, Poppy (Romy Park). In fact, her seeming hatred for her sister seemed a bit over the top at first and still does to many, but what if they are hiding something else?

It’s pretty clear that B&B is ready to give Dollar Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) another long-lost kid in the form of Luna since Poppy and Bill spent a magical night together after a music festival. That secret is bound to come out soon so Bill can add to his collection of adult children from one-night stands. That means Luna will get Wyatt (Darin Brooks) and Liam (Scott Clifton) as brothers and we are not sure if that is good or bad.

But there is definitely something to those mints that Poppy and Luna keep…popping.

What Do These Magical Mints Do?

Poppy has already made note of the fact that these mints are very special and one-of-a-kind but Bill doesn’t seem to be taking her seriously. However, the soap made a point of showing us Luna taking these same mints before a date with RJ (Joshua Hoffman) and we are sure she was not just trying to freshen her breath.

If both mother and daughter start their dates with special mints, we want to know what is really so special about them. B&B would not constantly be making note of them if they did not have some sort of significance.

Can they contain a special drug that helps Poppy and Luna attract and enchant men? Bill and RJ have certainly fallen hard and fast, and Zende (Delon De Metz) is now falling for Luna, as well. Does Luna even know her mints might have special powers? Perhaps Poppy has never told Luna what she’s even ingesting. Imagine her surprise when she one day finds out…and our surprise, too.
