On the Halloween episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, we were treated to another scathing scene between Steffy Forrester and Hope Logan. The latter tripped up (literally) and landed on poor, unsuspecting Finn at the exact wrong moment. From there, Hope’s whole world fell apart.

Straighten That Crown, Steffy Forrester

We watched, we analyzed, and we gotta say, we’re on Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) side. Yes, yes, we know it was all an *accident* but let’s break it all down. Just weeks ago Hope (Annika Noelle) was trying hard to become Finn’s (Tanner Novlan) ride or die babe. She even kissed him with Steffy right around the corner in the same house. That was a bold move and a huge mistake on Hope’s part. So, we can see where Steffy is coming from.

If any of us walked into a room and saw a woman decked out in lingerie throwing herself on top of our husband after all that, we’d fire her too! And, in Steffy’s defense, she did try to give Hope a chance to explain. She even outright asked her who she was so dressed down for. Is it Steffy’s fault that Hope refused to answer?

Perhaps if Hope had opened her mouth and explained her sexy look was supposed to be for Carter’s (Lawrence Saint-Victor) eyes only, this wouldn’t have gone that far. But, no, Hope stood there like a deer caught in headlights and refused to open her mouth. No one can blame Steffy for taking her silence as a sign and giving her the ax…right?

In Defense of The Bold and the Beautiful’s Hope

Okay, okay, we love the Logans too and we have to show Hope some grace. Yes, she messed up big time. No, she shouldn’t have set up a seduction stage in the design room to begin with. In her defense, though, she was just trying to be fun, flirty, and spontaneous. She had no idea Finn would walk in. She also had no idea she would trip and land on him. How could she?

What Hope needs to do is come clean about her new extracurricular activities with Carter. Sure, it could make the COO look a little iffy when it comes to Hope’s line, but better that than Hope being fired on the spot. Steffy dislikes Hope and letting her think she’s going after Finn again is dangerous all the way around.
