It’s an emotional day for nearly everyone in town. No one more so than Eric (Greg Vaughan) and Nicole (Arianne Zucker). Sloan (Jessica Serfaty) sits her husband down and comes clean. That child they are raising, he belongs to Nicole. What she doesn’t tell him is that Jude belongs to him, too. This is a gut punch for Eric who has spent his entire adult life wanting to be a dad. He fell in love with baby Jude and the thought of handing over his son rips into his entire heart.

The news will be almost as traumatic for Nicole. She spent weeks adamantly telling people that child was hers and was patted on the head and told she was wrong over and over again. Well, she wasn’t. She was right and by the end of the day she is handed back her sweet son. While that’s great and all, there are still a whole host of lies involved in this story and the drama will continue for days…weeks…maybe even months to come!

While Nicole in on cloud nine over her child being returned, Chanel (Raven Bowens) wonders about her own tiny tot. She sits Johnny (Carson Boatman) to question him about where he stands. Is he ready for a child with special needs? Is she? Are they doing the right thing by continuing on with the pregnancy?

All the while, the trouble with Everett (Blake Berris) takes a turn. This time, it’s good news, though. Marlena (Deidre Hall) is sure she has figured out what’s going on with that fella. All signs are pointing to Everett and Blake living in the same body. Does he truly have Dissociative Identity Disorder? Is that what’s going on here?
