The weekend wasn’t an easy one for Days of our Lives star AnnaLynne McCord. Her family had to say goodbye to one of the most important women in their lives, her grandmother.
AnnaLynne McCord Pays Tribute to Her Mimi
McCord took to Instagram to honor her sweet grandmother and post an emotional and beautiful tribute. Her message to her Mimi shows her grandmother’s strength, love, and devotion to her family.
“They never warn us… “this is the last time you’ll ever hug your Mimi”. Life gives and life releases. Mimi, you’re with the angels, now. All I can say is thank you for LITERALLY everything… groceries when we didn’t have enough food on the table, new clothes when all we had were hand-me-downs and second-hand, trips to the beach even though we were scared to touch anything in your condo -hahah, I learned about fingerprints not belonging on mirrors from you. 🙂
Thank you for Christmas and Birthday money that literally kept me alive through my early adolescence when I was out on my own at 15. — I’m not sure if you knew that being held by you when I was an infant felt the safest, and it took me 37 years (and the @theworkoutwitch_ ‘s somatic practices) to remember. I had a safe home in the world wherever you (and aunt @lynnmashburn ) were. Thank you, Mimi, for literally everything. No tribute could ever convey the depths of my gratitude, you were Crazy Mimi, but you were MY Crazy Mimi, and I love you infinitely. Rest in the arms of the Divine.
