Up-and-comer Aketra Sevillian (ex-Talia Hunter, Days of our Lives) can next be seen in an episode of Apple + drama Sugar. Soap Opera News was the first to report.
Aketra Sevillian To Play Opposite Colin Farrell
Described at the time of its purchase by the streaming service as “genre-bending series hailing from creator and executive producer Mark Protosevich,” Sugar concerns John Sugar, an American private investigator on the heels of the mysterious disappearance of Olivia Siegel, the beloved granddaughter of legendary Hollywood producer Jonathan Siegel. As Sugar tries to determine what happened to Olivia, he will also unearth Siegel family secrets; some very recent, others long buried.
In addition to his role as an executive producer, Academy Award-nominee Farrell stars as the titular gumshoe. Sugar will make its global debut with the first two episodes of its eight-episode season on Friday, April 5, 2024, on Apple TV+, followed by one new episode weekly every Friday.
Sevillian will appear in episode two as Courtney.
