When it comes to the civil case filed against her by Courtney Wilder, the driver of the car that she plowed into while allegedly impaired, Haley Pullos (ex-Molly Lansing-Davis, General Hospital) is denying any culpability…even as she readies to plead guilty to DUI charges.

Haley Pullos Plays The Blame Game

In fact, Pullos and her attorney are claiming that the crash itself was “proximately caused by either the sole negligent and/or intentional conduct of plaintiffs.” The defense is also alleging that Wilder’s injuries were “either wholly or in part, intentionally or negligently caused by person, firms, corporation, or entities” that were outside of the former actress’ control.

The team is asking that any damages awarded to Wilder be “reduced by an amount proportionate to the amount by which plaintiffs’ negligent and/or intentional conduct contributed to the alleged damages.” They also deny that Wilder “sustained, or will sustain, any loss or damage in the manner or amount alleged.”

As previously reported, in April 2023 Pullos drove her white 2019 Ford Fusion westbound onto the eastbound 134 Freeway and smashed into Wilder’s Kia which was traveling east at 60mph. The collision was so violent that Pullos had to be extracted from her vehicle via the “jaws of life.”

Responders allegedly found several mini bottles of tequila and edible marijuana wrappers inside Pullos’ vehicle, and reports from the scene claimed that Pullos smelled of alcohol, had slurred speech, and glassy eyes.

The Daily Mail was the first to report that the embattled actress was looking to change her previous plea of not guilty in the hopes of snagging a lower sentence resulting in little to no jail time, a suspended sentence, and/or house arrest.
