Days of our Lives fans are in for a treat next week. The Horton house fire will be on the forefront of everyone’s minds and have several friends taking a walk down Memory Lane.
A New Take
During this time of reflecting and remembering we’ll see Tom and Alice Horton. However, for this story, the legendary Salemites are getting a bit of a makeover. Coming onto the cast for these special moments are Sydney K. Smith as Alice and Zach Chyz as Tom. The newcomers will play out the early romance between Alice and Tom.
According to Soap Opera Digest, The daytime newcomers are set to honor their character’s predecessors, Macdonald Carey, who passed away in 1994, and Frances Reid, who died in 2010. While the change may be a bit jarring for long-term viewers, they are sure to touch hearts in all the right ways.
