Johnny showed off his musical chops in a recent episode of Days of our Lives. He serenaded Chanel with a stunning rendition of On Top of the World written by the show’s musical director Brent D. Nelson. This got us thinking…what if Johnny (much like his real-life portrayer) puts his musical talents to the test?
Living The Dream
Since his return to Salem, Johnny (Carson Boatman) hasn’t hidden the fact he’s out for fame and riches. While his dream is to become a highly regarded filmmaker, could he switch gears and put his creative spirit into music? With a voice like his, he could take off big time!
Of course, living the rock star life would come with its challenges, especially while being married to the town’s most loved baker. Eventually, he’ll have to tour, right? And, when he does, what happens to his wife?
Will Chanel agree to go on the road with her man? Is she willing to give up her bakery dreams to follow him and watch him live out his? Or, will this cause the hot couple to hit a crossroads?
An Ultimate End?
We can just see it now; Johnny not being able to resist the lure of full stadiums of fans screaming his name. He loves Chanel, yes, but it will quickly become clear he wants to carve his new path and see where it goes.
Oh, sure, Johnny and Chanel will try to do the long-distance thing. They’ll call often, fly to each other when they can, but it will get old fast. The only thing they can to do be fair to each other is break up on good terms and cheer each other on while they move on with their lives.
Unless, of course, being apart becomes too much and one goes jetsetting off to be in the other’s arms….
