A contemporary reimaging of the Louisa May Alcott penned classic, A Little Women’s Christmas is coming to Great American Family this holiday season. Amongst the ensemble cast are two graduates of NBC’s Days of our Lives, namely, Trevor Donovan (ex-Jeremy Horton) and Jen Lilley (ex-Theresa Donovan Black).

In addition, Jillian Murray, Laura Osnes, Jesse Hutch, and Julia Reilly will star as Jo March, Beth March, John Brooke, and Amy March respectively. The aforementioned Donovan and Lilley will essay Friedrich “Fritz” Baehr and Meg March. Empress of Soul Gladys Knight also features as Bertie Henderson.
Bill Abbott, Great American Media president and CEO, said in a statement to Variety: “A Little Women’s Christmas is a new Christmas classic in the making, with an incredible ensemble cast and an adaptation of an original story that is one of the best I have read. Louisa May Alcott was intentional about focusing on the culture of young women, their hopes, ambitions, and dreams, and it remains one of the most widely read and beloved stories ever written.”
The effort hails from scripters Dione Sheehan and Taylor Bird. Brandon Clark will direct.
