Everett…Bobby…Bobberett…whatever you’d like to call him…is in a very bad way. He’s living two lives at the same time on Days of our Lives and it’s finally become clear he’s struggling with these personas and finding his true self. The worst part is, he’s refusing help, which isn’t going to bode well for anyone. In the coming days, Elia Cantu’s Jada joins his friends (and some foes) as they come together to try and talk sense into him.
Elia Cantu Brings Jada to the Table
This week, Elia Cantu sat down with Soap Opera Digest to discuss what’s to come. Her telling preview highlights Jada’s feelings about her ex as she watches him go through this troubling time. “Jada’s very cautious, because she’s aware of what Bobby was capable of, how he had an on and off switch or would zone out,” she told the publication.
Of course, that doesn’t mean Jada is without empathy. “She definitely has a soft spot for him. She did love this man and there are parts of him she has empathy for, because he had a tough upbringing.”
As the intervention gets into full swing, Jada will experience the weight of her and Bobby’s past. “It’s like, ‘Here he is. This is the Bobby I’ve been trying to tell you all about. This is him,’” she detailed. “The tiger’s loose, and Bobby’s a bit of a tiger.”
Unfortunately, Bobby being out in full force means the future is unclear for Everett. This makes Everett’s budding rekindled romance with Stephanie (Abigail Klein) all that more complicated. In fact, it may destroy the possibility forever. “If he’s not going to let Everett out, that means Bobby’s back permanently. And Bobby’s going to want Jada. He’s not interested in Stephanie. So, as you can imagine, the dynamics are going to change.”
Thankfully (spoiler alert), he agrees to go to the hospital and get therapy. But, sadly, that could mean the end of either Everett or Bobby…whichever one he is not.
