Days of our Lives’ Eric Martsolf Raucously Reflects On Brady and Fiona’s Wild Romps

While many a Days of our Lives devotee no doubt decreed Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Fiona (Serena Scott Thomas) perfect compliments — not to mention bedpartners — Martsolf didn’t see it coming…not that he’s minded very much.

“That was a big old surprise,” insisted the actor to Soap Opera Digest. But I think it was just a nod to the fact that, ‘Well, we put Brady with his dad’s ex-girlfriend [Kristen] back in the day. So why not just put him with his grandfather’s old girlfriend as well?’”

“If you really examine the connective tissue of this, it’s unprecedented. And Xander is now my newly found uncle, so I’m sleeping with my uncle’s mother, too. So it’s out there.”

On his new screenmate: “As soon as I met Serena I knew it was going to be fun. And she was totally game as was I. She actually was very funny. She was like, ‘How old are you?’ Anyway, I told her my age, and she said, ‘Oh, this isn’t so bad. You’re pretty old.’ I was like, ‘Yeah, you’re damn right. This is fine. This is totally fine.’ I mean, I don’t know how old Brady’s supposed to be at this point. Who knows. But Serena is lovely, talented and such a good cast.”

As for what the future holds as far as this wild and crazy and randy twosome goes, Martsolf offered: “This little tryst that they start, what I can say without spoiling anything is it’s not just a one-and-done thing.

“It actually unfolds into other events. It comes into play down the line and will lead to a storyline that I’m looking forward to everyone actually seeing, because it’s quite a wild ride. [What’s aired so far] is just the green light of this entire roller coaster between Fiona and Brady.”
